We believe that water baptism is simply an outward expression of the inward change in a believers life. Being baptised with water is a demonstration of our obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ that shows others we have trusted Jesus for our salvation through. Our Lord Jesus Christ commanded us to be baptized with water according to Matthew 28:19-20. When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection. We believe water baptism is the recognition of three important things:
You are a follower of Jesus Christ?
You are beginning a changed life in Christ?
You are part of a new family?
On the day of your baptism, please bring a towel and change of clothes and invite your friends and family to come and celebrate with us.
