Love
Being united together in love while building meaningful relationships are essential and no one should walk alone in their Christian Journey. As a Church, we believe that “doing life together” in love while building community is not an option, but should be the primary vehicle that provides care and support for those we fellowship with. Genesis Church helps to promote this value of love by encouraging all members to connect, engage and grow in IMPACT Groups. (Matthew 22: 36-40, Acts 2:26)
Dynamic Worship
The gathering of the Church through dynamic worship is to reflect and recognize God’s miraculous works throughout the week as we celebrate the things He has done in us, through us and for us. We gather together in Christ-Centered praise and worship with a confident yet humble expectation that God will show up in our services when we worship, exalt and magnify His name. At Genesis, we place great value on worship as it releases the glory of God which enables people to truly have a one on one encounter with Jesus.
Passionate Prayer
Prayer and intercession are an important part of our culture as a Church. It is not just a thing we do, but is the first thing that we do. We value prayer and we believe that it is primary and essential to the growth of the Church as well as to the believer in Jesus Christ. As a community, we will learn and practice worship based prayer through praying the Word of God with passion and fervency (James 5:16). Our prayer time with God will no longer be a grocery list of our problems, but a celebration of our Problem Solver!
Generosity & Integrity
As a leadership team, we value integrity and it is under that premise we believe every servant leader, pastor and ministry should operate under. We will honor Christ and His Church with integrity and stewardship by using sound biblical judgement when it comes to ministerial affairs through the leading, guiding and prompting of the Holy Spirit. “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.” (Philippians 2:3)
Compassionate Outreach
We value Outreach and Missions with a commitment to developing and deploying people who have a servant heart for Christ. Compassionate Outreach is not a Core Value that is optional, but is essential to our identity as the Church. We embrace a missionary understanding that the local church has a biblical mandate to reach beyond the four walls and impact our culture with the gospel.(Matthew 28: 16-20).
